I worked as a Student Graphic Designer at the University of Washington Recreation center which is also known as the IMA. I collaborated with many intramural departments such as the Mindfulness department. They needed print material that advertised yoga while also sticking to UW’s brand guidelines.

One of the first pieces was to create the “Mindfulness a-board”. The board included information about the mindfulness pass/ticket that students can purchase to be a part of the program. The piece was inspired by a mosaic poster for the images. The extra opaque gold square is to help narrow the readers focus. The upper right shows what the pass contains and to learn more additional information if the students wanted to.

Another sign that I created was to help all outdoor class sessions from any interruption. This was a way to show what was happening and other events they offer across campus. This also directs any interest in the program to learn more on the website.

Flyers were also created as hand-offs for booth events or other general inquiries. The flyer shows what Mindfulness is and what the program offers and how to purchase it. Within a week of having all the prints out to the public, all sales increased drastically. We were able to gain $1,300 in revenue the first few weeks and many continued to show interest afterwards.
